Topping the list of many people’s dream leisure destinations has to be the Atlantis Resort, Paradise Island, Bahamas. With one glimpse of the iconic towers soaring above the Caribbean, you probably already wrote it onto your “To-Do Vacation List” — but if you haven’t, you might want to put it there! The resort has multiple levels of accommodations, from fairly simple rooms with a view to private suites in The Cove, an exclusive luxury “wing” of the resort (some of the roomier suites, you’ll see in these images). Fortunately for those on a budget though — including families — there are plenty of moderately-priced spots to lay your head, too. And all of them, no matter which price point, receive complimentary access to Aquaventure, the resort’s 141-acre water park, as well as the resort’s beaches, pools, aquariums, game rooms, and restaurants.
Guest rooms feature either a king or two queen-sized beds, plus French balconies or terraces, harbor or water views, sitting areas, and full-service bars; from the Royal Towers (probably the most famous “sight” of Atlantis), you’re within easy reach of the Mandara spa, a gorgeous beach, gourmet food, the water park, and the Caribbean’s largest casino. Play a round on the 18-hole course designed by Tom Weiskopf, climb walls at Climber’s Rush, or go fishing, diving, or snorkeling…when you’re not enjoying the boutiques or Earth & Fire Pottery Studio. The kids aren’t left out, either: they can make a stuffed animal from scratch as their own special Atlantis souvenir. So for a spot you’ll want to visit again and again…think Atlantis, Paradise Island. It’s waiting!
